He was convicted in the December 22, 1985 stabbing deaths of his wife, Suzanne Henry and her 5-year-old son, Eugene Christian.
Two years earlier, he was paroled after serving seven years for brutally stabbing his girlfriend, Patricia Roddy, in 1976.
Henry confessed to both murders.
Henry was injected with midazolam hydrochloride, vecuronium bromide and potassium chloride.
Henry becomes the 6th inmate executed by Florida this year and the 87th overall since the state resumed capital punishment in 1979, the 23rd inmate to be put to death this year in the USA and the 1382nd overall since the nation resumed executions on January 17, 1977.
