Forensic experts uncovered a new mass grave in eastern Bosnia suspected to contain over 70 bodies of Muslim civilians including many women and children. "What we found is a secondary mass grave which we believe hides a total of 72 bodies, including those of 16 children aged between three and 15 years and 10 women," Murat Hurtic, a member of the Bosnian Muslim commission for missing people, said. Hurtic said that personal documents found so far in the three meters (10-foot) grave near the eastern town of Vlasenica indicated that it contained bodies of villagers from nearby Zaklopca, summarily executed by the Bosnian Serbs at the beginning of the 1992-95 war.
