A Gaza court sentenced a man to death by hanging after he was convicted of premeditated murder.

A Ma’an reporter said that the criminal division of a Gaza court condemned the murder of Samiha Awad Allah, 72, by the convicted identified only as SH.H.

Awad Allah was found dead in her house on Feb. 26, 2015 where it was discovered that she died after being suffocated with a plastic rope and hit with a sharp tool on her head, causing her to bleed to death.

According to Gaza’s attorney general, the case marked the sixth death sentence issued this week by the courts in the Gaza Strip.
