the Military Court in Gaza City sentenced Fadel Msallam Shallouf, 26, from the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, to death by hanging, Palestinian Centre for Human Right reported.
The court convicted Shallouf of spying in favor of an enemy state (Israel), in violation of the Palestinian Revolutionary Penal Code of 1979.
Shallouf had been kidnapped on January 10, 2010 by members of the Popular Resistance Committees in Rafah, and was handed over to the Internal Security Service on January 17, 2010.
