The Bar Association said it deplored the preservation of the inhuman measure and stresses that it would undertake a series of initiatives for the abolition of capital punishment worldwide.
"Exerting pressure on all countries still keeping the death penalty is a primary duty of the judicial world and the obligation of every democratic citizen," the announcement said.
