Fukuoka High Court, in Japan, upheld the death penalty for a former vocational school student from China who murdered Shinjiro Matsumoto, 41, his wife and their two children in June 2003. Wei Wei, 27, and his two co-accused countrymen strangled the family, robbed them and disposed of the bodies in Hakata Bay. One of the co-accused, Yang Ning, was executed for the crime in China in 2005, the other is serving life in prison.
