"I am disappointed that on 23 December the People's Supreme Court in Ho Chi Minh City upheld the death sentence imposed on Australian citizen, Le My Linh, following her conviction for 'transporting' heroin," read a statement issued by Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer. "Ms Le has seven days to lodge a request for presidential clemency. The Australian government will support her application for clemency and will continue to make vigorous representations to Vietnamese authorities on Ms Le's behalf ...
