Runge, 36, was found guilty in February on 2 counts of 1st-degree murder in the Feb. 3, 1997, deaths of 10-year-old Jessica Muniz and her mother, 35-year-old Yolanda Gutierrez.
Runge also has been charged in the killings of 5 other women in a string of attacks between January 1995 and March 1997.
