In Dothan, 23-year-old Brandyn Benjamin has been given a death sentence

In Dothan, 23-year-old Brandyn Benjamin has been given a death sentence. Benjamin was found guilty in July for the November, 2000 murder and robbery of 52-year-old Jimmy Floyd Lewis. The same jury that convicted Benjamin recommended the death penalty by a 10-2 vote. Judge Jerry White will formalize the sentence in the next weeks.
