In Geneva, the United Nations human rights chief Sergio Vieira de Mello said he was seriously worried about the human rights situation in Ivory Coast. "Violations committed since September 19 - summary executions, arbitrary arrests, attacks based on nationality, ethnicity or religious beliefs...constitute serious violations of human rights which can be prosecuted", he said.
