in Oregon City, Judge Ronald Thom confirmed the March 3 decision of a Clackamas County jury, and sentenced Dayton Leroy Rogers to death.
Rogers is Oregon's most prolific serial killer.
He admits to killing six women in 1987, but he pleaded for jurors to let him live. Rogers addressed the court Thursday in Oregon City. He apologized and appeared remorseful. He offered no explanation for his crimes but apologized to family members and the community.
Roger was twice before sentenced to death. But the Oregon Supreme Court overturned the sentences because of technicalities.
