in Pakistan, Anti-Terrorism Court No 2 Multan

in Pakistan, Anti-Terrorism Court No 2 Multan, headed by a Judge Javed Iqbal Waraich, announced the judgement of Mian Chunnu bomb blast case. Court official said ATC had awarded death sentence on 14 counts, 112 years rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 1.57 million to a teacher Riaz Ali, however the court acquitted his brother Imtiaz Ali and Muhammad Fayyaz granting them benefit of doubt. At least 13 killed and around 29 persons were injured in a bomb blast in Chak-129 near Mian Channu on July 13, 2009. Court official said that trial of the accused was completed in the prison and 62 evidences were testified in this case. The accused were tried under anti-terrorism, explosive act.
