in San Antonio, 379th District Judge Bert Richardson sentenced Joseph Gamboa, 24, to death by lethal injection after a jury recommended that he be fatally punished for two killings. Judge Richardson issued the sentence for Gamboa, who was convicted of killing, during a robbery on June 24, 2005, the owner of the Taco Land Tavern, Ram Ayala, and bartender Douglas Morgan.
