in the United Arab Emirates, a man had his death sentence commuted to life in prison at the Fujairah Court of Appeal. The man reported his wife missing to the Diba Fujairah Police Centre in July 2009, however confessed to murdering her in Rawl Dhadna upon interrogation. He was sentenced to death by the Fujairah Criminal Court on June 13, 2010.
