INDIA: 2 SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR VASHI BOY'S MURDER

extra joint adhoc additional sessions judge DN Bhargande of the fast-track court in Thane, India, sentenced Nihal Sheikh, 30, and Rafiq Sayyed, 28, to death for kidnapping for ransom and then killing Vashi resident, Nitesh Wadhwa, 3 and a half, on April 26, 2004. The two also got seven years' rigorous imprisonment for extortion and hiding evidence.
