INDIA: 3 SENTENCED TO GALLOWS FOR HUMAN SACRIFICE

Three persons were awarded death sentence by a court in Uttar Pradesh, India, for killing a woman in an act of human sacrifice seven years ago.
Additional Judge Shyam Bihari Pandey gave death penalty to the trio, Ramdheeraj Gaur, Ramashish Gaur and Mangari Devi holding them guilty of murdering Rajkumari Devi in 2005 inside their residence, prosecution said.
They called Rajkumari to their residence on June 18, 2005 and murdered her in a locked room.
