INDIA: FARMER GETS DEATH FOR KILLING GIRL

farmer Karam Srinivasa Dora, 32, from Pedabeerampalli village in Rampachodavaram mandal in the Agency area of East Godavari, was sentenced to death by VI additional district judge Bhishma Gangeyudu in Rajahmundry, India, for raping a minor girl and setting her ablaze in Gangavaram mandal on July 14, 2008. Dora was also sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and fined Rs 10,000.
