INDIA: FIVE GET DEATH SENTENCE FOR POISONING ILLICIT LIQUOR

A court in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvannamalai sentenced to death five persons who poisoned illicit liquor that left 13 people dead in 2000.
The deaths occurred in the Tiruvannamalai district, around 200 km from Chennai.
The five had mixed poison in the illicit liquor brewed by a person as part of business rivalry.
