Chief Justice J N Patel and Justice A K Ray of the Calcutta High Court in India commuted the death sentence of Nikku Yadav, the domestic help who was convicted of murdering his employer Rabindra Kaur Luthra on February 15, 2007, to life imprisonment. He was sentenced to death by the Alipore Sessions Court on August 29, 2008.
