INDIA: HC CONFIRMS DEATH SENTENCE FOR 4 FOR MURDERING 10 PEOPLE IN 2003

a division bench of Justices BH Marlapalle and Abhay Thipsay of the Bombay High Court in India upheld the death sentences awarded to Santosh Manohar Chavhan, Amit Ashok Shinde, Yogesh Madhukar Chavhan and Mahesh Dhanaji Shinde for murdering 10 people in 2003. The victims were lured to Malwan by the convicts on the false promise of doubling their money through black magic.
