INDIA: JUDGE ORDERS EXECUTION OF DEATH SENTENCE

in India, a Lohardaga sessions judge ordered the execution of Mofil Khan and Mobarak Khan on September 18, 2009. They were sentenced to death on August 5, 2008, and this was upheld by the High Court. On June 6, 2007, Mofil and Mobarak, along with their sons and other relatives, killed their brother Hanif Khan and his family at Makandu village.
