INDIA: MAN AWARDED CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IN RAPE AND MURDER CASE

A man was awarded capital punishment in Uttar Pradesh (India), in a 12-year old rape and murder case of a minor girl. Additional District and Sessions Judge D C Singh awarded the capital punishment to Shakeel, who raped a 5-year-old girl and later killed her in Bulakipura area in Mau city on November 21, 1999.
