INDIA: MAN GETS DEATH FOR KILLING WIFE, 3 KIDS

A Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Lucknow awarded death sentence to a man for killing six persons, including his wife and three children. Terming it as a rarest of rare category case, the Special CBI judge Harish Tripathi held that convict Sarvan would be a threat to the society and hence had no right to live. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 7,000 on Sarvan.
