the Indonesian Supreme Court confirmed the death sentence passed on 10 Nigerians for drug-related offences. News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), however, gathered from a competent source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja that the condemned Nigerians were given one month to apply for a review of the sentence. “If they fail to do so within the period the sentence will be carried out,“ the source said. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ojo Maduekwe, said Nigerians must learn to live within the confines of the laws of their host nations. He said it was wrong for Nigerians to flout the laws of their host nations in the expectation that the Federal Government would bail them out in the name of Citizen Diplomacy.
