INDONESIA. PROTESTERS STORM BALI JAIL, DEMAND DEATH FOR BOMBERS

some 500 protesters demanding the immediate execution of three militants on death row over the 2002 blasts on Indonesia's Bali island broke into a jail on where the inmates had been incarcerated until they were moved the previous day, witnesses said. Shouting "kill, kill", the protesters broke down the front gates of the prison. A number of other convicted Bali bombers were still in the jail. Citing security concerns, authorities moved the three on death row to a prison island off Java on October 11.
