the National Human Rights Commission in Indonesia said that the execution of Amrozi, Mukhlas and Imam Samudra should be postponed because the death-row convicts were still filing a judicial review with the Constitutional Court (MK) over the Law on the Execution Procedures. "Their legal process must be respected. It is a funny thing if the judicial review is taken to court when the people concerned are already dead," commissioner Nurcholis said. Amrozi and the fellow convicts of the Bali bombing in October 2002 filed a judicial review with the MK on Law No.2/PNPS/1969 on Execution Procedures.
