Indonesia said it would continue to carry out the death penalty against convicted drugs traffickers despite international protests over the execution of an Indian heroin smuggler earlier in the week. Attorney general's office spokesman Kemas Yahya Rachman said two Thai nationals also convicted of drug smuggling would be executed once the paperwork rejecting their final appeals for a presidential pardon was processed. Saelow Prasert and Namsong Sirilak, a married couple, were sentenced to death in 1994."Once we receive (the copy of the presidential decree) we will look into it and once it is decided that the decision cannot be changed, then we will execute them," Rachman said.
