the Java Bandung district court in West Java, Indonesia, sentenced a man to death for murdering his Japanese employer last year. Security guard Suyitno bin Bejo, 30, was found guilty of the premeditated murder and robbery of Shi Geko Munetsama in July 2006. After stabbing Munetsama to death, the defendant stole equivalent of 1,600 dollars in cash, two cellular phones and some jewellery. Despite expressing remorse, the court issued the death penalty as Suyitno had taken away the life of someone he was hired to protect.
