Inpaeng Thammasaeng, 42, was sentenced to death

Inpaeng Thammasaeng, 42, was sentenced to death by the Vientiane People's Court, Laos. Police investigation revealed that Inpaeng was guilty of drug trafficking. He confessed that between 1999 and 2000, he bought amphetamine from a Mr Sing, which he later sold to regular customers for 1,000 Baht. On 17 January 2003, he paid 1,200,000 Baht for 30 packs of 60,045 amphetamine pills weighing 5.69 kg.
