IRAN - 1 woman, 2 men executed in Birjand on April 30

(April 30, 2023) - 1 woman, 2 men executed in Birjand on April 30
All three were Baloch prisoners, and sentenced for drug related crimes. Their names were Mrs. Madina Sabzevan, Abdullah Zarouzhi (Zahrozai), Mohammad Shibak.
Madina (Madineh) Sabzevan (Sabzwan), was 39 and the mother of 5 children. Her execution brings the number of women executed in Iran from 2007 to the present to 211. She was from the Shibek tribe and lived in Shirabad district of Zahedan. She was reportedly a close relative of another executed prisoner, Mohammad Shibak.
Mohammad Shibak, 33 (or 27) years old, was a resident of the Karim Abad area of Zahedan – the capital of Iranian-Occupied Balochistan. He was married and a father of four. A source quoted in the report, said: “Mohammad was arrested for drug charges at a check point with another person in South Khorasan province three years ago. He was sentenced to death by the Birjand Revolutionary Court and his sentence was carried out today without his family being notified and last family visit.”
47-year-old Abdullah Zahrozahi, son of Zawan Khan, was a resident of Malik village in Zadul district of Balochistan.
