IRAN: 13 PEOPLE HANGED IN TWO DAYS

13 people have been hanged in Iran for drug trafficking and terrorism, media reported.
According to reports from Iran, Saeed Sedighi and nine other prisoners were hanged on October 22 in Tehran’s Evin Prison early in the morning.
Iran Human Rights (IHR) strongly condemns today’s executions. IHR calls these executions "unlawful" because reports indicate that the prisoners had confessed under torture and were sentenced to death in sham trials each one lasting less than 30 minutes.
Iranian state media has confirmed the news. According to IRIB NEWS, the prisoners who were executed this morning belonged to two different narcotic leagues:
Farshid Rostami, Farhad Mashhadi Abolghasem, Ali Darvishi, Abbas Abbasi Namaki, Saeed Sedighi, Hami Rabiei and Mohammad Ali Rabiei belonged to the first league; convicted of possession of one ton of Shishe (synthetic heroin) in Tehran. The other group was convicted of trafficking more than one ton of opium from one of the southern harbors to Tehran. They were identified as: Alireza Molaei, Eshagh (Isac) Lorgi, and Yousef Parmar.
On October 21, Iran hanged three "terrorists" for bombings in 2010 that killed a total of 67 people in restive Sistan-Baluchestan of south-east Iran, the judiciary in the province bordering Pakistan said.
A statement from the judiciary named the men as Yahya Charizehi, Abdoljalil Kahrazehi and Abdolbasset Rigi, who were executed in the prison of the provincial capital of Zahedan.
Charizehi and Kahrazehi were convicted for a bombing in Chabahar city in December 2010 that killed 39 people taking part in a Shi'ite religious procession, said Zahedan's prosecutor Mohammad Marzieh, quoted by Mehr news agency.
Rigi was convicted for a blast in Zahedan in July of the same year that targeted Revolutionary Guards and killed 28 people, according to the same source.
