IRAN - 2 men executed in Shiraz on March 12

(March 12, 2023) - 2 men executed in Shiraz on March 12.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were executed in Shiraz Central Prison on March 12. Their identities have been established as Tohid Ramezani and 40-year-old Nabi Langrani who were sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
A source told IHR: “Tohid Ramezani was arrested around three years ago and sentenced to death. Nabi Langrani was a father and arrested around two years ago.”
At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
