IRAN - 3 men executed in Khorramabad on August 2

(August 2, 2023) - 3 men executed in Khorramabad on August 2.
Mohammad Javad Akbari, Sharif Akbari and Kianoush Teymouri (Timuri, Teymoori, Teimouri).
According to information obtained by IHR, three men were executed in Khorrramabad (Parsilion) Central Prison on 2 August. Their identities have been established as Mohammad Javad Akbari and Kianoush Teimouri from Kouhdasht in Lorestand and Sharif Akbari from Nourabad.
All three men were sentenced to death for drug-related charges. The three prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement for execution on 29 July.
At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media in Iran.
