On Sunday, October 1, five inmates, convicted of drug-related offenses, were executed in Kerman Prison, according to Haal Vsh.
Among those executed, two have been identified as Avaz Moradi and Ramezan Khorshid, both Baluch residing in Bam. They had been incarcerated for six years.
The identities of the three other executed prisoners in Kerman Central Prison have not been confirmed as of the time of this report. These three prisoners are also reported to have been charged with drug trafficking.
At the time of writing, no official sources or domestic media outlets within the country have reported on these executions.
