IRAN - A man and woman executed on March 14

A man and woman who were newlyweds at the time of their arrests were executed (in Shiraz Central Prison) on murder charges on March 14. Unidentified at the time of writing, they were sentenced to qisas for murder. The news was reported by “IHR” on March 21 without further details. This execution brings to 131 the number of women executed in Iran since summer 2013.
