According to information Iran Human Rights obtained on March 19, an Afghan man was hanged in Bandarabbas Central Prison on 25 February 2025. His identity has been reported as Abdolbari Jahani, who was on death row for drug-related offences.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
