According to HRANA news agency, two men were executed in Bandarabbas Central Prison on 13 August. Their identities have been reported as Abdollah Lashtaghouni from Bandar Khamir and Hamed Mozafari from Bandar Lengeh. Abdollah was on death row for drug-related charges and Hamed was sentenced for murder.
Per the report, another murder death row prisoner who had been transferred for execution with the two men, was returned to his cell.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
