According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Monday, August 7, 2023, the death sentences of Abdul Ghafar Shahiki, 38 years old, a Baloch prisoner from Khash, and another prisoner from Afghanistan, were carried out in the central prison of Kerman. They were both sentenced for drug-related charges. According to Halvash News, Abdul Ghafar Sheikhi, who was the father of two children, was arrested two years ago in Kerman. The prisoner from Afghanistan, whose identity is under investigation, was sentenced to death on similar charges.
At the time of writing, neither of their executions have been reported by domestic media in Iran.
