An Afghan citizen identified only by his first name, Abdullah, was executed in Zabol prison on 15 May. He had been convicted of murder. Previously other sources had reported the execution, in the same prison on the same day, of Reza Dahmardeh.

At the time of writing this report, the authorities have not made the news of the executions public.
