According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the death sentences of 31-year-old Ali Afrooz from Sari and 34-year-old Amirhossein Boroumand from Langarud were carried out in Lahijan Central Prison (Ezbaram Prison), Gilan Province.
Sources close to the matter reported that Afrooz was arrested three years ago, and Boroumand four years ago, both charged with murder.
To date, the news of the execution of these two prisoners has not been announced in Iranian state media.
