Ali Ashouri was executed at Isfahan Central Prison on January 6, 2020. According to Iran Human Rights (IHR) sources in Isfahan, prisoner Ali Ashouri was executed at the city’s central prison on January 6, 2020. “Ali Ashouri was arrested 11 years ago for driving a car carrying heroin, methamphetamine and firearms. He had always claimed he was only the driver and did not smuggle anything,” a well-informed source told IHR. Javaneha website first reported the news. Neither Iranian authorities nor official media announced the execution so far.
