Ali Farhadi, a Turkish prisoner from Tabriz, has been executed at Tabriz Central Prison 

According to information obtained by Hengaw, Farhadi was executed at dawn on October 18, 2026.

Farhadi, a barber from Tabriz, was arrested approximately 15 months earlier on charges of selling eight kilograms of heroin.

According to people close to Farhadi, he had no previous criminal record and had become involved in drug trafficking because of severe financial hardship and extreme poverty.

His execution has not been publicly announced by Iranian state media.
