According to information Hengaw received on July 23, the death sentence of Ali Joghatay, a Turkish man resident of Joghatay, in Razavi Khorasan Province, was carried out at Sabzevar Central Prison. Joghatay had been sentenced on charges related to drug offenses. The execution took place in the early hours of June 14, 2025. The execution has not been publicly announced by state-affiliated media.
