According to information received by Hengaw, Ali Shacheri (Bani Taraf), a 48-year-old Arab man from Ahvaz, was executed at dawn on November 3, 2026, in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz.

The case dates back approximately five years, when a man allegedly subjected Shacheri’s underage child to verbal sexual harassment in their neighborhood. After learning of the incident from his child, Shacheri confronted the man and his companions. A physical altercation followed, during which the alleged harasser was killed.

Shacheri was arrested and sentenced to death for murder.

Iranian state media have not announced his execution.
