December 11, 2023 - Amin Jokar executed in Shiraz on December 11.
According to information obtained by IHR, a man was executed in Shiraz Central Prison on 11 December. His identity has been reported as Amin Jokar, 40-year-old, from Darab.
Amin was arrested for an honour killing around four years ago. He was transferred to the gallows from Ward 11 of the prison. At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
