Amir Ali Hosseini executed at Qom Central Prison on August 24. Execution in month of Muharram in Qom resulted in strong protest from the family in front of Qom Central which led into a clash. Javanehha.com reported that on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, Amir Ali Hosseini, charged with murder, was executed at Qom Central Prison. This 25-year-old youth was charged with murder and was jailed for two years at Qom Central Prison. An informed source said that he was innocent and had not committed any murder. In the morning of August 24, 2021, the family of this inmate protested in front of the Qom Central Prison to stop the execution. After the family noticed that their relative had been executed, they clashed with the agents. An informed source said that the prison authorities did not deliver the body to the family and in this way they put pressure on them to disperse. When they dispersed, the body was given to cemetery to be washed and prepared for burial. This execution is not announced by any official media.
