January 5, 2026 - IRAN. Amirreza Sarlak executed in Doroud on January 5.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Doroud Prison on 5 January 2026. His identity has been established as 27-year-old Amirreza Sarlak from Doroud. He was arrested around three years ago for murder.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
