Iranian authorities have executed Amrollah Seiri in Ghezel-Hesar Prison. Seiri, sentenced for murder, spent 14 years in prison before his execution.

According to information received by Hengaw, Seiri (Hadavandi), a Lor man from Farunabad in Pakdasht County, Tehran Province, was executed in Karaj Central Prison on Wednesday morning, October 28, 2026.

Seiri was arrested 14 years ago for the alleged murder of a person surnamed Gholamhosseini, according to informed sources. He was transferred to solitary confinement on October 26, ahead of his execution.

The execution has not been announced by Iranian state media.
