According to a report received by Hengaw, on the morning of Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the death sentence of Askar Nami, a 27-year-old inmate, was carried out in Tabriz Central Prison. 
Four years ago, Askar Nami was apprehended in connection with a homicide case stemming from a tribal conflict, according to a source. Until the publication of this report the news of Askar Nami’s execution had not been disclosed by government-affiliated media outlets.
