At dawn on October 7, 2025, Bahman Shah-Hosseini, 36, from Tehran, and Seyed Mahmoud Hosseini, 35, from Arak, were executed in Ghezel-Hesar Prison in Karaj. According to informed sources, both had been imprisoned for eight years on drug-related charges and were held in solitary confinement for 16 days prior to their executions.
The executions of these prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media.
